About the Recipe

Ingredients
2 lbs of strawberries
Grandulated Sugar
Corn Starch
4 Sticks of Unsalted Butter
8oz Cream Cheese
6 Eggs
Lemon Extract
Vanillia Extract
Almond Extract
Cake Flour or AP Flour
Baking Powder
Salt
1 Whole Lemon
Preparation
Dice up 2 lbs of strawberries
Add 1 lb of strawberries to a pot
Add 1/2 cup of sugar and allow the strawberries to cook down until they release their natural flavors and sugars.
Add a corn starch slurry to thicken up the puree and place in the fridge to cool down
In a bowl, add 4 sticks of unsalted butter and mix
Add 2 cups of sugar and mix
Add 8oz Cream Cheese and mix
Add 6 eggs one at a time and mix after each one is added
Add Lemon extract
Add Vanillia extract
Add Almond extract
Mix on low/medium speed
In another bowl, sift 3 cups of flour
pinch of salt and baking powder
Incorporate the wet with the dry ingredients
Add lemon zest and the other diced strawberries
Pour the batter into a oil and floured baking pan
Tap to release the air bubbles
Place in a cold oven on 325 degrees for 1 hr and 20 minutes
Remove and allow to cool down for at least 2 hrs. The cooling process is very important
